A Place Where Checking Is Still FREE

I’m sure you’ve been reading that most big banks have either dropped free checking or have added requirements to the account to avoid fees like having direct deposit or requiring high account balances.

Some are even offering cash incentives that look good in the short term, but may not turn out to be such a good deal over the long term. Others are charging fees for using your debit card, and many have dropped their debit card rewards programs.

Banks are looking for new ways to make up the revenue they lost from new regulations aimed at curbing fees. And three guesses of who will end up paying the cost of these changes? You guessed it. We will.

But there is an alternative. At Delta Community Credit Union we are still offering FREE checking with no restrictions or special terms on debit card usage. Our goal is to continue to provide these basic services at no cost. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, we are in business to provide as much value as possible to our members/customers.

Making a decision to switch your checking account is never an easy one, but a checking account at Delta Community may be just what you need to tip the scales.
