Junior Achievement 

Delta Community is proud to partner with Junior Achievement to help students across Georgia build confidence in their financial futures. Since 2015, we have partnered with the JA Discovery Center in Gwinnett County in Duluth, including opening a Delta Community Credit Union storefront in JA BizTown. Through immersive programs like JA BizTown and JA Finance Park, middle school students gain hands-on experience managing money, running businesses and making smart financial decisions. Programs like JA 3DE and the JA Dream Accelerator also help high school students tackle real business challenges and explore future career paths.

Our impact continues to grow with the new JA Delta Discovery Center of Clayton County, opening on April 1, 2026, in partnership with Clayton County School District and located within the Clayton Convocation Center in Morrow. This new center will expand access to hands-on financial education for up to 17,000 additional middle school students each year and serve approximately 5,000 high school students annually. With this expansion, Junior Achievement will reach more than 60 percent of Georgia middle school students statewide and help equip the next generation with the skills and confidence to succeed.

Children’s Miracle Network

Delta Community is part of Credit Unions for Kids, a cooperative network of credit unions that support 170 U.S. nonprofit children’s hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). CMN is a nonprofit organization that raises money for kids with diseases and injuries within local communities. Each year, Delta Community supports local hospital Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta that provides care, research and community outreach to millions of children. Since 1998, we’ve raised more than $2 million for CMN.
