Delta Community Turns 75

In 1940, eight Delta Air Lines employees pooled together $45 and founded what would one day become Delta Community Credit Union. Now, 75 years later, we are the largest credit union in Georgia with more than 312,000 members and $4.7 billion in assets.

While we’ve grown in size and membership, Delta Community is still a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution. We still follow the example of our founders and we’re dedicated to providing our members with honest value, superior service and trusted advice.

That promise involves providing a better value on the financial services our members use every day. It also includes giving back to the communities we serve.

In short, Delta Community Credit Union is everything your bank should be.

As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we are proud to launch “The Perfect Match” campaign and to be named one of WXIA 11 Alive’s Companies that Care. These new TV spots help us share the Delta Community promise and deliver on our brand in a real and personal way.

The Perfect Match Campaign

Featuring real members with their actual cars and homes, “The Perfect Match” TV ads help us show the power of our financial products. Not only do our members find their perfect home or car, they also find their perfect financial institution at Delta Community.

Our new TV ads can be found on the Delta Community YouTube channel or at the links below:
Watching our new TV spots, you may notice our new tagline, “Everything Your Bank Should Be.” This new tagline reinforces our established relationship with current members and shows future members the Delta Community commitment to honest value, superior service and trusted advice.

WXIA 11 Alive’s Companies that Care

One of our defining traits at Delta Community is our community involvement. We are proud to give back to the communities we serve and we are proud to be recognized as part of the Companies that Care program.

Our WXIA 11 Alive Companies that Care segment can be found on the Delta Community YouTube channel, or at the following link:
In 2014, the Credit Union invested more than $625,000 in our local communities. With the Delta Community Credit Union Philanthropic Fund, employee donations and corporate giving initiatives, we were able to touch nonprofit organizations, area chambers of commerce, local schools and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

We hope that 2015 will be another record year for our community giving and involvement.

75 years is an impressive milestone to reach, but it’s only one of the many milestones we hope to achieve. Going forward, we want to be metro Atlanta’s preferred place to bank.

We want our current and future members to know that not only is Delta Community the perfect match for your financial institution and a company that cares, we really are everything your bank should be.
