Spoofed Phone Calls Claim Fraudulent Activity and Ask for Sensitive Personal Information

Delta Community has been made aware of members receiving fraudulent phone calls from individuals claiming to be from the Credit Union. In these instances, the phone number they are calling from is “spoofed,” meaning it might appear to be a legitimate Delta Community contact number. The caller states that there has been a fraudulent charge on the member’s account and asks the member to confirm his or her identity.
